Heather Lea Florists are based on the Fylde coast in Blackpool. Established in 1932, our family-run florist has been supplying Blackpool and the Fylde Coast with beautiful traditional and contemporary floral arrangements. With our personal, friendly service and our finish-to-perfection attitude, we have earned a strong reputation for high-standard flowers and arrangements. Whilst we supply many leading companies with their floral requirements, our main business is everyday floristry such as funeral tributes, wedding bouquets, presentation bouquets, baskets and vase arrangements.
Since starting our floristry business we have never looked back. From our very first customer to our latest delivery, we always do our best to ensure the flowers we deliver are of the highest quality and freshness. We have been trading for over 75 years, embracing old and new. We love flowers, we love creating smiles, and this passion shows in every bouquet and arrangement.

Here is some advice on what to do once your flowers are home.
Remove the cellophane, wrap and bows. Place half of your flower food into a vase with water and stir. Cut each stem on an angle and arrange as desired. Strip foliage below the waterline to prevent bacterial build-up and change the water daily. Re-cut stems if they have been out of water for 10 minutes or more. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight.
Optional tip: Re-use your cellophane and bow to decorate your vase.
Remove the cellophane, wrap and bows. Add half of the provided flower food to a clean vase of fresh water and stir. Cut each stem on an angle to the desired length, ensuring all stems reach the water. Change the water daily and re-cut stems if they have been out of water for 10 minutes or more. You can leave your flowers in the aqua-pack for up to 48 hours after arrival. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight.
If keeping your bouquet in its aqua-pack, top up the water by adding flower food to a watering can or bottle and pour carefully through the inside lining of the cellophane towards the stems, avoiding the flower heads and petals. For longer-lasting flowers, remove from the packaging after a few days, cut stems at an angle and place in a vase of fresh water with flower food. Change the water daily and keep away from direct heat and sunlight.
